Ayurveda is an ancient holistic science dedicated to optimal living and wellness. While many are familiar with its dietary and herbal practices, Ayurveda encompasses a rich and detailed philosophy and system that goes far beyond these aspects.

In this workshop, we will explore essential Ayurvedic principles and examine how integrating Yogic sciences enhances this ancient tradition. We’ll delve into Vedic psychology and uncover a comprehensive map of the mind, revealing how these elements work together to create a harmonious system for optimal living.

The workshop is open to all and will include presentations, an Ayurvedic lunch, some breathing and Yoga Nidra practice.

Topics included:

  • Samkhya Philosophy - Universal Cosmology

  • Overview - Life Sciences of Ayurveda, Yoga, and Tantra

  • Ayurvedic principles including the 5 elements, 3 doshas, 3 gunas, subtle essences

  • Understanding the different body/mind types

  • The energetics of Ayurveda & Tantra Yoga

  • Vedic Psychology & mapping out the minds 4 functions

  • Integration of Ayurveda and Tantra Yoga for modern living

We'll break briefly for a nourishing ayurvedic lunch.

About Brad Hay

Brad Hay is a distinguished Ayurvedic Specialist and Senior Tantra Yoga & Meditation Teacher rooted in the Himalayan Masters Lineage. Known for his approachable and charismatic style, Brad has a unique talent for making the ancient and mystical traditions of yoga accessible and relatable to modern practitioners, whether they are students, teachers, or enthusiasts.

With 25 years of professional teaching experience, 4000hrs of formal training, and a practice spanning more than 35 years, Brad’s deep expertise is evident in both his demeanour and his instruction. He seamlessly integrates extensive knowledge of Tantric Hatha Yoga and Ayurveda to offer profound and practical guidance tailored to today’s yoga & health practitioners. Brad is particularly renowned as a teacher of teachers, leading trainings and intensives both in Australia and internationally, blending these ancient systems in a way that remains true to their roots while making them practical and relevant.

Brad is a Nationally Certified Ayurvedic Specialist and a professional member of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association in the USA. He completed his Ayurvedic studies in 2011 at The California College of Ayurveda, one of the leading institutions in the West. His professional journey includes owning and directing two private Ayurvedic practices in the USA, and serving as the house Ayurvedic Practitioner at esteemed centres in Sri Lanka, Indonesia, and now Australia.

Currently based in the Byron Bay Shire, NSW Australia, Brad leads Tantra Yoga & Ayurveda workshops, intensives, and retreats worldwide. He lives with his wife Mia, and their children Ayla and Kalani. Brad’s dedication to this work is driven by a profound passion for the transformative power and guidance it offers.
