MASTER YOUR MEDITATION: Weekend Course with Aimee (Level 1)

  • The Dharma House Yoga 58 Railway Street Mudgeeraba, QLD, 4213 Australia (map)

Learn the correct way to meditate: master your mind, to master your life.

Learn the correct way to meditate through science-based traditional techniques.

Most people who think they cannot meditate simply have not yet learned the correct methods of meditation or how to adequately prepare the body, mind, and nervous system to meditate.

Through this course you will learn simple yet precise science based practices and techniques from the Yoga Tradition that will allow you to develop a potent daily meditation practice to support you for the rest of your life.

Overcome a busy mind, stress, anxiety, depression, fear, doubt, and all other inner obstacles using time-tested wisdom shared by the masters. Learn how to tailor your practice to suit your unique evolutionary path.

The point of Yoga IS Meditation. Understand WHY this is, and why mastering your Meditation is THE way to mastering your life.

This training will give you the skills to build a lifelong, life-changing meditation practice.

This training also offers an essential skillset for yoga teachers to share meditation authentically according to Tradition.

We will cover:

  • What meditation is, and what it is not.

  • How to adequately prepare the body, mind, and nervous system to meditate.

  • What to meditate on - and what will lead to life-changing outcomes (and what won’t).

  • The necessity of meditation objects and gates - and why we cannot truly meditate without them.

  • Learn two foundational Tradition-based meditation methods, with five specific time-tested practices.

  • Deep exploration into the Yoga Sutras: the ultimate text on meditation, including the sutras directing relating to meditation, the eight limb path, and the essential process of Samyama.

  • Why and how Samadhi is accessible to us ‘everyday folk’, and is not some mystical concept reserved for sages.

  • The Vedantic perspective on the mind.

  • An overview of Samkhya philosophy and how the Yogic system of meditation compliments it perfectly.

  • The correct way to use Asana (postures) to prepare to meditate.

  • How to create a reliable daily meditation practice that you can adapt to support you for the rest of your life.

You will also receive several pranayama, asana and meditation recordings to support your home practice.

This training is suitable for meditation beginners, as well as experienced practitioners seeking a deeper understanding of the correct process of meditation. If you are a yoga teacher that has not yet learnt these techniques, this training holds the missing pieces your YT training didn’t capture.
