GROUNDING HATHA YOGA PRACTICE with Aimee
Join Aimee for a 55 minute practice of Tantric Hatha Yoga to cultivate a grounded and steady state.
This practice follows the energetics of Apana Vayu, the descending energy, using forward folding postures, supported by twists, to stabilise your nervous system and get you into your body and anchored to the earth. Using mantra, conscious breath, and moments of stillness in poses, this practice will support you coming back into the present body and releasing all worry and agitation.
This practice finishes with a balancing breath technique and the Apana Vayu meditation kriya to release what you don't need, finishing on the three key energy centres connecting you to courage, compassion, and clarity.
You'll leave feeling like a pillar of calm and stability, able to welcome whatever life might present. Suitable for all levels.
Props: a folded blanket to sit on for meditation, two blocks if you like to use under your hands in lunges.
